about this print:
Red Hot Chili Peppers captured on June 27, 1987. Jay Blakesberg was up in Seattle visiting friends and saw that the band X was playing the Moore Theatre. They were on Elektra Records and Jay had a dear friend who did college radio promotion at Elektra. He got Jay on the list. He had never seen the Chili Peppers before and was blown away by their performance. They were the opening act. After the set, Jay just walked in their dressing room and asked for a band pic. This is the original line-up with Jack Irons on drums and Hillel Slovak on guitar.
