about joe vaux
Joe Vaux is a fine artist, a Director on Family Guy, and a friend to small creatures and plants. For thirty years, he has juggled life as a painter and a full-time job in animation, as well as hopefully, being a decent dad and husband. Animation has provided the financial stability to paint without the stress of sales, but sales emerged. Joe has shown his paintings in galleries all over the country and has a couple international gallery appearances on his resume.
Over the years, Joe’s been lucky to have the good folks at Family Guy recognize his paintings and use his brain to animate a nightmare for Brian Griffin. Another Family Guy alum used Joe’s original artwork as “Goliath’s” paintings in Syfy’s “Resident Alien”. Joe’s been very lucky but has worked very hard. He appreciates all the love and support he’s received over the years.
