Matthew Salacuse has been an editorial photographer for 20+ years in NYC shooting everyone from Billy Idol to Billie Eilish. He has always had a comedic bent to his work, but after a chance shoot with Artie Lange in 2008, Matt went full-bore into the comedy world.
In the early days of the pandemic, when you could only work with people you were closest with, Matt became a comedy director directing specials, skits and docs for Sam Morril, Mark Normand, Joe List, Raanan Hershberg and many others. The first half of his career he was a music photographer with a heavy hip hop influence — the second half has been a joke.
