about this art
32 Flavors is a 48-color painting and print by Kristin Farr, who makes neo-folk art paintings described as West Coast Hex Signs. Her work is influenced by color psychology and traditional Pennsylvania Dutch hex signs, historically painted on barns for good luck, protection, or decoration. Kristin was looping a great song by Ani DiFranco while painting this one, the epic ‘90’s anthem, “32 Flavors.”
