about amy greenbank
Amy Greenbank is an illustrator, artist, muralist, and art teacher who brings bold color and playful nostalgia to everything she creates. Her digital paintings are inspired by the toys and pop culture of the '80s and '90s, painted the way we remember them—bright, fun, and full of personality. Amy also makes junk food collages using candy wrappers and packaging, fascinated by the beauty in advertising, and uses them to “paint” popular subjects in vibrant, unexpected ways. That same love of color, texture, and pop culture shows up in her mural work—her largest piece spans 70 feet and brings her joyful, retro aesthetic to life on a whole new level.
She recently illustrated the soon-to-be-released, “The Toys That Made Us: Polly Pocket,” by Maude Campbell, published by The Nacelle Company. Amy is also passionate about sharing her love of art with young creators and has developed a series of interactive books called Draw, Doodle, Use Your Noodle, which allow children to illustrate along with her.
