Jon Carraher is a self-taught artist originally from South-Central Pennsylvania. Jon has had a passion for art from a very young age and is a lover of the mysterious, the magical, and the many realms beyond, with all of his work being through visions, dreams, and imagination. He also has a love of nature, animals, myth, and folklore, which can be seen throughout much of his art. Jon has created art with many different types of media from carving and sculpting to drawing and painting, with much dabbling in all the spaces between. Currently, his main body of work is oil painting, with many paintings depicting natural landscapes with a deep atmospheric perspective full of magic and mystery. Within his paintings many stories reside and lend an invitation to become immersed in that world and part of the tale.
