Wyatt Bunce is an artist based in Los Angeles, California. Raised in the Idaho mountains, he was a competitive snowboarder before studying Literature at Stanford University. There he grew to love narrative fiction and dreamed of making a life for himself as a writer. It wasn't until he started painting that he found a home for his joyful narratives, though. His work evokes playful stories that extend off of the canvas. He speaks in whimsy and seeks to delight. He's drawn to exciting colors that vibrate with life. Inspired by physical comedy-- think Monty Python, Charlie Chaplin, or Sasha Baron Cohen-- his work often explores human posture as a source of comedy, and it's all imbued with irreverence.
