“I drew this because last November, I hooked up with a guy and I became addicted to him. I thought he was just too hot to be true, and I've never really had that before. So my brain just went nutty and I got this obsession that I just wanted to keep him, you know? Creepy. It's creepy. So I was trying to play it cool. Like, yeah, I just want to hook up situation, but I realized I can't do that. I became too obsessed, and it ended up really hurting me. So the lava lamp is just being this yellow, colorful light, and this stronger force of energy kind of messed me up." - Melissa Villaseñor
