Jeffrey Adam Meszaros is a self-taught Canadian artist who finds beauty and meaning in what others view as trash. With a background in Renewable Energy and Sustainability, and years spent behind the bar, Jeff discovered creative inspiration in one of the industry’s most overlooked remnants — the bottle cap. Over nearly two decades, he has rescued hundreds of thousands of caps from the landfill, collecting them one shift at a time.
Each cap Jeff saves carries the echoes of celebration, sorrow, connection, and routine. These fragments of daily life become his palette — a raw, unconventional medium used to create striking portraits of the people and moments that shaped him. His mosaics are more than visual likenesses; they are layered stories of resilience, joy, memory, and time.
Jeff’s work challenges viewers to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, to reflect on the seemingly insignificant moments that shape us. Each piece asks: What do we discard without a second thought? What stories are hidden in our waste? His art is a celebration of sustainability, human complexity, and transformation — turning forgotten debris into something deeply meaningful.
Jeff has created custom works for private collectors around the world, as well as large-scale commissions for clients such as the Chicago Bulls, Deep Eddy Vodka, Labatt Brewing Company, and more.
