Luiza Guedes is a Brazilian visual artist and illustrator born in the heart of Minas Gerais. She studied Visual Arts at the Federal University of Uberlândia, a city that nurtured her early creative visions.
Her work weaves together the forces of nature and the spirit world, unfolding dreamlike allegories rooted in magic, shamanic practices, and the ancient bond between humans and the natural world. She draws from the symbology of African diasporic religions, goddesses of ancient Egypt, Hindu deities, and Indigenous cosmologies, guiding the viewer through layers of ancestral knowledge and sacred memory.
Through her art, Luiza invites us to reawaken a sense of unity with the cosmos, in order to remember that we are not separate from the universe, but part of its ever-flowing pulse.
